You are going to have an awsome inspiring experince! She is an amazing instructor & SO kind & approachable. Yes-do bring water & note pad--she is a wealth of info--don't be afraid to ask questions-she loves that--I also highly reccomend to buy one or two of her dvds they are WELL worth it--I study them all the time!!! Have FUN! Enjoy her!!!--Miss you Ansuya--SO wish I could be there!!!!!!
  • When Ansuya did the Fusion workshop here in FL (Naples) she gave out tons of notes - it was *wonderful*. Definitely bring a notebook/notepad but there will probably be notes that she reviews after each choreography too :)
    • Hey! I'll be seeing many of you there!! woot!
      • I heart Ansuya

I can only second what's already been said. I think Ansuya single handedly reawakened me to bellydance. The first time I went to a workshop with her, and even more so, the first time I saw her dance in person, it was like the first time I ever discovered bellydance. ("it feels like the first time... it feelsa like the very first time" LOL) Something about her energy or her spirit or her aura or whatever you want to call it is very contagious and it made me fall in love with bellydance more than ever. I know it probably sounds like I'm in love with her, but who cares; maybe I am.

You will have so much fun and think of things ahead of time that you want to ask her about. It's hard to think of things on the spot.

Be prepared to laugh a lot and have a lot of fun!

I've taken several of her workshops, and thoroughly enjoyed all of them. She's so sweet and approachable. I must say though, even though I've taken several of her workshops, I still got starstruck every single time! I think it's mostly because she's vegan AND an official bellydance superstar. (anyone who is a vegan bellydancer is a bellydance superstar, to me! :) )

You definately won't be disappointed and will meet lots of cool people.
